- Engine requires use of Performer RPM Intake Manifold or equivalent (Not a standard Performer Manifold), Steel gear distributor, and 50 ounce flexplate or flywheel. Failure to use and install these parts properly on the motor will not be warranted by Ford.

- Flywheel not included. Requires 50 in/oz. imbalance flywheel M-6375-B302 (T-5) or flexplate M-6375-A50 (AOD)

- A different performance oil pan and pickup may be required for your application. Call the Techline at (800) FORD788 for more information
- The timing chain cover will work with most standard rotation water pumps.
- Fuel pump eccentric M-6287-B302, which is already installed, allows use of a mechanical fuel pump
- For other transmission applications use the proper 50in/oz imbalance flywheel
- Intake gaskets M-9439-A50 required for installation of an intake manifold
- Firing order 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 (5.0L HO and 351W order)
- Ford Racing/MSD Pro Billet Distributor with Steel Gear 8598 recommended
