Smart Shift stand alone transmission controller that's user friendly and "no-laptop required" allows you to dial in the performance. This stand alone transmission controller compliments the Ford Racing 5.0L Coyote engine controller. This setup of using the Smart Shift stand alone transmission controller and Ford Racing stand alone engine controller is the ideal setup for project cars, hot rods, kit cars, and resto-mods. It is the perfect answer to avoid the pitfalls of the production mustang engine/transmission control system. The production wiring and controllers do not work well in project cars. So if you want to use the new Coyote 5.0L engine with an electronic 4-Speed automatic, then this is the answer for your project.
