NOTE: Pre-greased do not add extra grease. Clutch and bearing damage may occur

  • Use with Ford Racing flywheels to align and attach the 11" diaphragm-style clutch and pressure plate to the flywheel

  • This kit includes 3 dowel pins that are necessary to align and
    stiffen the pressure plate shell. NOTE: If the dowels are not used the
    clutch may chatter and the engine vibrate

  • Includes six 10 mm X 1.5 pressure plate bolts and dowel pins for use with 11" modular flywheel

The Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Series is a performance matched pressure plate & disc combination featuring the patented Centerforce centrifugal weight system (where applicable) and specialized machining processes to provide a performance clutch that offers exceptional street characteristics, while offering outstanding holding-capacity and durability. Furthermore, the Centerforce Dual Friction disc has a full facing on the pressure plate side for drivability and longevity, while a carbon composite puc-style (segmented) facing is used on the flywheel side for a positive engagement and increased holding-capacity.

The Dual Friction clutch is engineered for those who are looking for the ultimate in street/strip holding power and performance without sacrificing pedal effort and driver control. While the Dual Friction has been engineered primarily as a street clutch it can be used in mild competition applications.

  • Patented centrifugal weight system to increase clamping load as RPM increases. The increased clamping effect allows a clutch disc to be used with light pedal effort but at the same time increasing the power capacity of the clutch.

Centerforce recommends changing your pilot bearing and throwout bearing when replacing the clutch disc. Given the relatively low cost of the bearings themselves and the amount of labor to access the clutch for removal, it makes sense to change those bearings while you have access to them.

Warranty: Centerforce warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. Centerforce reserves the right to examine all parts returned for warranty claim to determine whether or not any such part has failed because of a defect in material or workmanship. This warranty shall be limited to repairing, replacing, or crediting, at the manufacturer's option, any part found to be defective.

The Centerforce DFX Clutch Series is the competition-proven clutch package for select import and domestic applications. This DFX series is engineered for competition standards of quality and craftsmanship. The DFX series is aimed at high-end applications that continually demand increased integrity and holding-capacity. DFX scores big, not only with holding-capacity and strength, but also provides some of the best drivability from a race-inspired single disc clutch.

The DFX series features the patented Centerforce centrifugal weight system (where applicable) and retains an easy pedal effort, thanks to Centerforce's patented ball bearing actuated diaphragm, for smooth engagements without detriment to the vehicle's release components. The Centerforce DFX performance clutch system is SFI approved for competition with Nodular Iron pressure plate rings and reinforcements designed to help prevent drive strap breakage and safety.
Note: Due to the materials used, the DFX clutch series is more aggressive with less dampening; this can cause some additional drive train noise and/or chatter.
